Little Lamps Nursery is North West London’s newest & most exciting Play & Learn Preschool which opened it’s doors in September 2017. Besides the National Curriculum for Early Years Foundation System (EYFS), Human Values and Character Building will be infused to create a syllabus that truly sets your child for a solid foundation in life.

Yes, Little Lamps Nursery is open Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. We request interested parents to book an appointment in advance as we currently have a lot of viewing interest and may not be able to show you the nursery without a pre-arranged appointment. You are welcome to clarify any queries you may have and register your interest after taking a tour of the nursery.

Little Lamps Nursery is much more than just another play and learn preschool. It’s a pioneering Early Years provision where alongside the UK EYFS curriculum, skills and knowledge will be imparted, moral & human values inculcated through kinaesthetic, auditory and human touch of the head, hands & heart.

No. Little Lamps will impart value-based teachings parallel to the EYFS framework but does not follow any religious domain. All Faiths are respected. Children from all religious backgrounds are welcome to join.

Yes, there will be a child minding / crèche service available as well.  There will be a fee for child minding services. Parent will need to book these service in advance.

Little Lamps Nursery will be open from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday. Little lamps will be open for 51 weeks a years for working parents. 13 weeks per term as per the OFSTED guidelines for nurseries of same age group. However, there are after school sessions available until 6:0 pm for those who decide to enroll for them separately.

Yes, Little Lamps Nursery will adhere and comply with all the OFSTED governance and regulations. It will be monitored and open for OFSTED inspection from time to time to ensure a safe environment and high standard of teaching for the children.

Yes, Little Lamps Nursery will accept most major childcare vouchers.

Yes, Little Lamps Nursery has a limited number of places available on the Government’s 30 hours paid scheme. Please discuss this with the Enrollment officer or email your enquiry to

Little Lamps Nursery employs qualified teachers and teaching assistants. There will be stringent checks and training before a teacher can be accepted:

  • There will be a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) (formerly CRB) checks carried out on each applicant to comply with OFSTED regulations.
  • The applicant will then be interviewed for the role.
  • Each teacher will undergo an additional training programme in line with our value based curriculum before they start.
  • Finally, there will be regular and ongoing training for all teaching staff

All day-to-day operations will be led by the Nursery Manager. The overall management will be overseen by an appointed Board of Governors who manage the affairs of Little Lamps Nursery. The Board of Governors will in-turn report to the Director of Little Lamps Nursery.

Yes, there will be a provision for nutritious lacto-vegetarian lunch. Fruit, water and milk will be available for children through the day.

Yes, as long as it is a lacto-vegetarian dish/sandwich.

Yes, at all times there will be at least one teacher in the building who will have
First-Aid training.

The safety and security of the children is paramount.

  • Children will be supervised at all times, both inside the Nursery and outdoors during playtime.
  • Both entrances to the building are security doors with access limited to vetted individuals.
  • Any visitor will be signed in and signed out with the purpose of visit noted.
  • For greater security, CCTVs are installed on the outside and in strategic points within the Nursery.

This can be discussed with the Nursery Manager and a half day session may be arranged depending on circumstances.
