Yes, Little Lamps Nursery is open Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. We request interested parents to book an appointment in advance as we currently have a lot of viewing interest and may not be able to show you the nursery without a pre-arranged appointment. You are welcome to clarify any queries you may have and register your interest after taking a tour of the nursery.

Little Lamps Nursery is much more than just another play and learn pre-school. It’s a pioneering Early Years provision where alongside UK EYFS curriculum, skills and knowledge will be imparted, moral & human values inculcated through kinaesthetic, auditory and human touch of head, hands & heart.

No. Little Lamps Nursery will impart value-based teachings parallel to the EYFS framework but does not follow any religious domain. All faiths are respected. Children from all religious backgrounds are welcome to join.

Little Lamps Nursery will be open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Little Lamps Nursery will be open for 38 weeks a year for working parents.

Yes, Little Lamps Nursery will adhere anc comply with all the OFSTED governance and regulations. It will be monitored and open for OFSTED inspections from time to time to ensure a safe environment and high standard of teaching for the children.

Little Lamps Nursery employs qualified teachers and teaching assistants. There will be stringent checks and training before a teacher can be accepted.

  • There will be a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) checks carried out on each applicant to comply with OFSTED regulations.
  • The applicant will then be interviewed for the role.
  • Each teacher will undergo an additional training programme in line with our value based curriculum before they start.
  • Finally, there will be regular and ongoing training for all teaching staff.

All day-to-day operations will be led by the Nursery Manager. The overall management will be overseen by an appointed Management Committee who manage the affairs of Little Lamps Nursery. The Management Committee will in-turn report to the Director of Little Lamps Nursery.

Yes, there will be a provision for nutritious lacto-vegetarian lunch. Fruit, water and milk will be available for children through the day.

Yes, there will be atleast one First-Aid trained staff member in the nursery at all times.

The safetly and security of the children is paramount.

  • Children will be supervised at all times, both inside the nursery and outdoors during playtime.
  • Both entrances to the building are secured doors with access limited to vetted individuals.
  • Any visitor will be signed in and signed out with the purpose of visit noted.
  • For greater security, CCTVs are installed on the outside of Nursery premises.

 

This can be discussed with the Nursery Manager and a half day sessions may be arranged depending on circumstances.
